Enable Qanapi's Key Management Service for Google Workspace Client-Side Encryption in minutes.
Create your Qanapi account and set up your project

Click Start for Free in the top-right corner of this page.

Fill in your organization’s information to create your Qanapi account.

Open your project and navigate to the Integrations tab, select the Google Workspace integration and enable your organization's free trial.

Click Open Admin Console to navigate to your Google Workspace Admin Console. Google requires a Super Admin to configure and enable CSE on behalf of your organization.

Navigate to Data > Compliance > Client-Side Encryption in your Google Admin console, then click Add under Encryption with external key service.

Paste the Qanapi Base URL on the Add external key service page, enter a name, and add a backup key service if needed.

Click Test Connection to verify the setup. Once successful, a green banner will confirm the Qanapi Key Management Server and project name.
Start using Client-Side Encryption on Google products

Navigate and hover over the Google Workspace product you want to encrypt, then click + New.

Select the Encrypted option for the Google Workspace product you're using, such as Encrypted Document for Google Docs. This will enable client-side encryption for the document.

Users can now store, share and collaborate encrypted files for Google Drive, Docs, Sheets, and Slides; create encrypted Calendar events or host with CSE encryption on Meet.
